Pursuing Conversational Topics
Pursuing Conversational TopicsIf you haven't yet watched the first season of Broad City, I suggest you do so soon. In fact, I think you should watch it immediately and then read on to learn about some really good conversational topics for pursing and pursuing. For those who don't know Broad City, it is a show that revolves around two women, Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer. They spend their days trying to figure out what life has in store for them and how to make it happen. You can get some pretty funny and crazy moments from watching this show because the women are too smart to fall in love or in lust with each other, they aren't pursuing anyone, they never make plans together, and they each have very different views on what is important in life. They try to avoid chasing each other because they both hate chasing, but it turns out there is a lot more to chasing than you'd think. So when you watch this show, it's good to brush up on some different types of pursing and pursuing. The first type of pursing is talking about other people. When two people don't know each other, it's sometimes difficult to talk about them because they are in another time zone, on a vacation, or just don't want to be bothered. Sometimes people get shy when you are talking about them. This is another very good reason to pursue. Talking about other people gives the feeling of connection, but not chasing.Another very exciting conversation topic is explaining yourself. When we make decisions about what to do, we often do so based on something other than reason or our true desires. Sometimes a lot of people make decisions based on things they see on TV, celebrities, or movies instead of what's going on in their heads. If you make it seem like you are having a tough time or that you are making a mistake, you will attract more people to talk to you and show passion for your problem. This is a great conversational topic for pursing and pursuing because you can actually relate to the other person an d bring out the passion you feel. One good example of conversation topics for pursing and pursuing is finding out how someone started a hobby. If you're in love with soccer, you can talk about why you've decided to start to play it and how you feel like you will be better at it. If you like to watch movies, you can talk about how you have decided to try to watch them more often and why you think it's a good idea.If you like cooking, you can start a new hobby with the person you are pursuing. You can show them that you are interested in them and that you can help them improve the way they cook. This is another good conversation topic to pursue because you can relate and they can reciprocate. One good example of a conversation topic for pursing and pursuing is how to treat a client. If you are a freelancer and it looks like you are moving forward in your work, you can tell the person you are with how you feel about making money and if you think they could use your services for less mone y. If you're teaching online, tell the person you're working with how much you enjoy teaching online and you'll be surprised how excited they are to know you are looking for work.
